I'm Benoit Fornieles
A passion that evolves with every encounter
It all began in 2016, when I got my first camera. At the time, I was mainly interested in landscapes, architecture, and macro photography. I already loved capturing details, playing with light, and discovering the world from a different perspective, without yet imagining where this passion would lead me…
Then, while attending a convention a few months before Covid, I discovered portrait photography. It was a new way of taking pictures, a more human approach in which the expressions, poses, and personalities of the models take center stage.
After the lockdown, I gradually decided to dedicate more of my time to this discipline. It was in 2023 that I truly began pursuing portrait photography, taking on more and more shoots and exploring an increasingly diverse range of concepts, from bathtub photoshoots to more original staged compositions.
Finding My Own Style
In 2024, I began developing a real interest in fantasy worlds through cosplay photography. At first, it was a new way to explore portrait photography, showcase characters, and bring to life the fictional worlds I enjoyed.
But I quickly realized that cosplay might simply have been a stepping stone towards something that resonated with me even more: medieval and fantasy photography.
Armor, costumes, places steeped in history, mysterious atmospheres, and imaginary worlds are all elements that inspire me today. What draws me to this style in particular is the opportunity to create images that do more than simply portray a character, but instead make them feel as though they truly belong to another world.
And the Adventure Continues…
Today, I continue to develop my craft with an ambition that grows with every project: creating increasingly immersive medieval and fantasy photoshoots, experimenting with lighting, settings, and compositions, and gradually pushing the boundaries of what I can achieve.
I believe that a photograph can be much more than just a beautiful image. It can tell a story, evoke emotions, and transport us somewhere else, if only for a moment.
And this is only the beginning of the adventure…

Bright & Dark Fantasy
I would like to develop more photography projects inspired by Bright and Dark Fantasy, working with full suits of armor, elaborate costumes, and immersive lighting.
My goal is to create increasingly ambitious photoshoots, exploring both the luminous beauty of fantasy and its darker, more mysterious side.
Bal Fantasy
I would like to become more involved in the world of fantasy balls by taking part in new events and developing photography projects inspired by these enchanting settings.
My goal is to bring my own vision and creativity to these events while helping capture their magic and elegance.
